New interface for the Worldbid.com Network

All of the Worldbid Network sites received a substantial face-lift with the goal of streamlining the interface and improving navigation. The new look facilitates the location of services, especially for the first-time user.

The Worldbid Network sites contain a large amount of information and feature a wide variety of services. It is always a challenge to present this information in an interface that is easily understood while still providing quick and easy access to the various areas of the site.

We think the new interface accomplishes both these goals very well, but as always, send your suggestions and comments to WorldBidArgentina.

In addition to the public/private sector filtering options previously available for the ETN service, you can now filter your incoming leads by the following geographic regions:

Focus: Company Showrooms
 

A Worldbid.com Company Showroom is an online business-to-business storefront for your products or services. Your Showroom acts as a centralized location to which you can refer a potential business contact for current product information.

Your Showroom consists of two sections:

Company Profile - Your Company Profile consists of a brief overview of your organization, your corporate logo and your contact information. This information is shared by both your Showroom and your Directory listings.

Groups / Items - A list of your company's products and/or services organized into groupings of your choice. Along with each item, you can store a description, information on its price and supply levels and upload an image of the product itself.

Information in your Showroom can be updated at any time and is a great way of maintaining online visibility of current product availability and pricing and every page contains a quick email link for easy movement of information about your products by yourself or potential new purchasers.

Pageview statistics for individual items and as a combined total are available from within the Showroom section of Account Management. You can also access additional promotional services for your Showroom or Items from this section.

Take some time to familiarize yourself with the Company Showroom area and to create your own Showroom [simple step by step instructions guide you through the initial process]. It will increase your visibility as a Worldbid.com member.

How To: Common Member Questions
 
Q   How do I edit my Showroom?

A  

You edit your Company Showroom in the Account Management section of the site.

To begin editing an item in your showroom simply click on the Edit link to the right of the Item Title. A page will be loaded with step by step instructions outlining how to make changes to the various attributes of that item.

New links dedicated to editing and viewing your Showroom will appear in the navigation column on the left side of the page. Through these links you can access pages for updating your Company Profile, adding and editing items, adding and editing item groups as well as read the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). Each page has step by step instructions to assist you with the process.

To quickly add new items to your showroom, simply click the Create a new item
link.
